Grand Rapids, MI (11/19/11) – Raysean Johnson (Buffalo, NY/Grover Cleveland) lead the Spartans with 13 points, two steals and two rebounds in a 100-67 loss to Grace Bible College in the consolation game of the Calvin Tip-Off Tournament. Johnson also had an assist in the loss.

Jeff Curry (Buffalo, NY/Lafayette) put up 12 points in the contest and had two steals for the Spartans (0-3). Greg Osika (Depew, NY/Depew) had eight points, three steals and two assists. Julian Reed (Cheektowaga, NY/Union-Endicott) had seven points in the contest and a team high three blocks.

The Spartans return to action Tuesday at the D'Youville College Center gymnasium, taking on the Fredonia State Blue Devils at 6 p.m.
