BUFFALO, N.Y. – D'Youville University Athletics has announced the promotion of Emma Bernet to Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications.

Bernet takes on the new role after continuing to play an integral part in telling the stories of D'Youville's student-athletes, coaches, and athletic programs. Her promotion recognizes her dedication to the Saints, her continued growth within the department, and her commitment to elevating the visibility of D'Youville Athletics.

"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue growing with D'Youville Athletics," Bernet said. "I love what I do, and I'm fortunate to work every day with people who are passionate about our student athletes and our programs. This role gives me the opportunity to take on new challenges, continue developing creatively, and help tell the stories that make the Saints so special."

Throughout her time with D'Youville Athletics, Bernet has helped showcase the accomplishments of Saints student-athletes and programs through written content, social media, creative initiatives, and other communications efforts. Her work has played an important role in connecting the D'Youville community with the stories and successes of the department.

In her new position, Bernet will continue to oversee the athletic communications efforts for the Saints while taking on additional responsibilities within the department.
