D'Youville initiated the first set with strong defense, capitalizing on an attack error by Saint Francis and following up with a kill by Ethan Robinson (Scarborough, Ontario / Neil McNeil) from an Andrew Haber (Whitby, Ontario / Brooklin) assist, taking an early 2-0 lead. Robinson continued to be a key player, contributing multiple kills throughout the set, frequently assisted by Haber, which helped D'Youville keep pace with the Red Flash. In the second set, the Red Flash took control with a dominant run, capitalizing on errors by D'Youville. Despite early attack errors from Skyler Tutor (St. Cloud, FL / St. Cloud) and Robinson, D'Youville managed to respond with brief rallies led by kills from Tutor and Robinson. However, the Red Flash maintained its lead with consistent scoring, highlighted by kills, and eventually widened the gap.
D'Youville attempted a late comeback with a series of points due to the Red Flash's errors, but it wasn't enough to close the deficit. The set concluded with the Red Flash securing the set 25-14, extending its lead in the match.
D'Youville opened the third set with a strong start as Robinson secured an early point through a kill, assisted by Haber. Ty Parker (Syracuse, N.Y. / Jamesville-Dewitt) contributed significantly with multiple kills, maintaining D'Youville's competitive positioning in the set. Despite their efforts, a series of errors allowed the Red Flash to gain momentum and establish a lead midway through the set.
Haber continued to facilitate the offense with assists to Robinson and Luk Markwardt (Luebeck, Germany / Leibniz Gymnasium Bad Schwartau), but the Red Flash managed to extend its advantage with effective kills. The set concluded with the Red Flash maintaining control and securing the set with a score of 25-19.
