BUFFALO, N.Y. – The D'Youville University Field Hockey Team was faced with another tough test on Sunday morning falling 7-0 to #5 in the nation, Bloomsburg University.

Sarah Reifsnyder (Pylesville, MD / North Harford) got the start in goal for the Saints today recording 12 saves while Chloe Burkhard (Vestal, N.Y. / Vestal) made three key defensive saves.

It was a tough day offensively for the Saints as they were unable to get any shots off on goal and only saw two penalty corners. The Saints defense put up a strong effort against #5 in the nation Bloomsburg University. The Huskies knocked in one goal in the first quarter, but Reifsnyder held the Huskies offense at bay making four big saves to start the game. Sydney Bolesta (Dallas, Pa. / Dallas) also helped hold the Huskies offense with a big defensive save.

The second quarter was an offensive struggle for both sides as neither team could find the goal. The Saints saw two penalty corner opportunities in the second quarter but were unable to convert.

The Bloomsburg offense picked up in the third quarter with the Huskies adding four more goals and ultimately scoring two more in the fourth to bring the game to 7-0 before time ran out.
