ALBANY, N.Y. – Playing in the state capital, the D'Youville University men's lacrosse team fell to The College of Saint Rose Wednesday afternoon by a score of 17-7.

The Saints (1-9) were led offensively by Tristan Engelhardt (Orlando, Fla.) with five goals while Carsyn Kent (Whitby, Ontario) and Stefano Evan (Vestal, N.Y.) each had one goal and one assist.

After falling to a 2-0 deficit to the Golden Knights, DYU came back with Engelhardt scoring his first goal off the assist from Kent to make it 2-1 with 6:59 left in the first quarter. Saint Rose pushed the score to 4-1 but a goal by Kent made it 4-2 with 1:10 left in the first frame. Engelhardt was able to help the Saints creep closer, scoring a goal in the early goings of the second quarter to make it 4-3. The Golden Knights were able to take an 8-0 run into the break.
