BUFFALO, N.Y.- The D'Youville Men's Volleyball (4-1) returns home for a Saturday afternoon matchup against the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans. This will be the second time the Saints face off with the Spartans this season after D'Youville won 3-2 in January. The Saints are also currently receiving votes in the Off the Block Division II Coaches Poll. While 4-1 on the season, the Saints are currently 2-0 at home and look to make it 3-0 after Saturday.

The Saints competed in their first NEC match last night losing 3-0 to the Daemen University Wildcats.
Shaun Vattakuzhiyil (Sugar Land, TX / Elkins) was the top offensive performer for the Saints again in last nights showing recording nine kills.
Tymek Brzoza (Tychy, Poland / NLO Jastrzebski Wegiel) had a consistent night across the board recording six kills, two blocks, and three digs throughout the three sets.
Randy Adorno (Bayamon, Puerto Rico / Winter Park) earned 21 assists in last nights matchup, bringing him to 121 assists on the year so far.
What to Know About the Saint Thomas Aquinas College Spartans
The Spartans are currently 1-7 overall in their first season but will face off against Daemen University tonight before taking on the Saints tomorrow. In the last meeting between the Saints and Spartans, the Saints took the 3-2 win on the road.
Players to Watch For
Nicholas Santos and Gabriel Vieira were the offensive leaders for the Spartans in their last match against the Saints. Santos recorded 14 kills while Vieira followed close by with 11. Kyran Versteegen recorded 30 assists while also earning eight kills of his own.
