BUFFALO, N.Y. - D'Youville Athletics announces that it will join the Tau chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society. Chi Alpha Sigma is the first, and only, nonprofit organization that was established to recognize college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of competition, while showcasing exemplary character and citizenship.

Each spring semester, our chapter advisors will consult individual's head coach to identify all junior and senior student-athletes who have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.4 out of a 4.0 scale. Candidates must be an athletic letter winner and exhibit the standards of sportsmanship and ethical conduct stated in the D'Youville Athletics Student-Athlete handbook. Honorees are inducted one time and then they are members of the organization for life.
