ADRIAN, Mich. – The D'Youville University Women's Wrestling Team officially began their season at the Adrian Women's Duals. The Saints fell in all three matches losing 39-4 to Frostburg State University, 36-6 to Northern Michigan University, and 23-20 to Siena Heights University.

Match #1 – D'Youville University 4 vs Frostburg State University 39
FSU took the first to matchups by forfeit, but Ollie Ridling (San Antonio, TX / Winston Churchill) earned the first points for the Saints after winning 12-7 by decision. Frostburg State would take the remaining seven matchups along with one double forfeit in the 138-weight class.

Match #2 – D'Youville University 6 vs Northern Michigan University 36
After a double forfeit to start the second match of the day, Northern Michigan took the next four matchups with two falls and two tech falls. Madison Wellen (East Berlin, Pa. / Wyoming Seminary) earned the lone win in the match for the Saints with a fall before Northern Michigan won the final four matchups.

Match #3 – D'Youville University 20 vs Siena Heights University 23
Rebecca Ridling got her second win of the day by forfeit in the third match. Madison Wellen, Saniyah Ward (The Colony, TX / The Colony), and Zoe Kip (Liberty, N.Y. / Liberty) all earned wins in their matches by fall. Siena Heights got the final win giving them the 23-20 win in the third match.
