Box Score QUEENS, NY – The D'Youville University women's tennis team was defeated by ECC opponent Queens College 7-0 on Saturday.

At first doubles, freshman
Mina Randjelovic (Paracin, Serbia) and senior
Yuliia Kashtelian (Lviv, Ukraine) were defeated 6-0. Sophomore
Maria Campisi (Caracas, Venezuela) and senior
Paola Ermina (San Sebastian, Spain) lost 6-0 at second doubles, and senior
Yelizaveta Prokopenko and junior
Emiliia Soloviova (Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine) also fell by a score of 6-0 as Queens claimed the doubles point.

At first singles, Randjelovic played a close first set, but dropped it 6-4 and went on to lose the match 6-4, 6-0. At second singles, Kashtelian played a tight second set after losing the first set 6-0, but ultimately lost the match 6-0, 6-3. Campisi was defeated at third singles by a score of 6-2, 6-1 and Ermina was beaten at fourth singles 6-0, 6-1. At fifth singles, Prokopenko fell 6-1, 6-0, and Soloviova was beaten 6-0, 6-0 at sixth singles as Queens clinched the 7-0 match victory.

D'Youville will be back in action next Saturday at 12:00 p.m. as they return home to face ECC rival Molloy University.
