Box Score 2 LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — The D'Youville University baseball team trailed early in both games of their doubleheader against the Lock Haven University Bald Eagles on Sunday afternoon and could not hit their way back into it, losing 9-3 and 8-2.
Game One: LHU 9, DYU 3
- Ethan Hammond's sacrifice fly brought home Alex Dzimian to get DYU on the board in the first.
- LHU started the bottom of the frame with four singles and a walk to take a 2-0 lead.
- With 2-outs, a bases-clearing 3-run double opened up a four-run advantage for LHU, 5-1.
- DYU answered with one in the second as Alec Boucher's RBI single down the right field line scored Jeremy Glinski.
- LHU got the run back in the bottom of the inning as a leadoff walk came around to score on an RBI single, LHU 6-2 after two.
- Back-to-back Bald Eagles' singles in the fourth added three insurance runs to extend the lead to 9-2.
- Jon Simpson got one back in the sixth with his solo shot to make it a 9-2 final.

Game Two: LHU 8, DYU 2
- An RBI groundout followed by a two-out, 2-run home run to left helped LHU put up three in the first.
- Simpson led off the second with a double and came around to score on a Craig Oliver RBI groundout as DYU got one back in the second, LHU 3-1.
- DYU retired the first two LHU hitters in the bottom of the frame, but a walk and two singles led to another Bald Eagles' run, LHU 4-1.
- After another walk, a bases loaded triple down the right field line stretched the lead to 7-1 LHU after two.
- Oliver's RBI single to center in the fourth brought home Billy Morris after a single of his own, LHU 7-2.
- The Bald Eagles tacked on one more run in the sixth via a sacrifice fly to take game two, 8-2.
