Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — The D'Youville University baseball team fell behind to Lock Haven University 4-0 after the first and were unable to recover, falling 8-4 in game one of their weekend series on Saturday.
How it Happened

In the bottom of the first, the Bald Eagles used five hits from the first six batters to fly out to a 4-0 lead.

DYU answered quickly in the second as a Jon Simpson leadoff walk was followed two batters later by a Craig Oliver 2-run home run to left to cut the deficit in half, 4-2.

LHU got the two runs back in the fourth as a leadoff single and back-to-back RBI doubles pushed the margin back to four, 6-2 LHU.
- The Bald Eagles added a pair of insurance runs in the sixth due to consecutive 2-out RBI singles, LHU 8-2.

The Saints loaded the bases in the ninth with three straight one-out singles to force a Bald Eagles' pitching change.
- John Rogowski, Jr. and Blaise Kolbert each followed with RBI singles up the middle to pull DYU within four, 8-4, but LHU would make another pitching change and retired the next two Saints' hitters with the bases loaded to close out the game.
