BUFFALO, N.Y.- The D'Youville University men's basketball team competed in yet another conference matchup with the Firebirds of the University of the District of Columbia from College Center Gym falling, 92-71.

STAT OF THE GAME

• Renard Fontes Jules took the lead for the Saint's in the scoring department recording 17 points on the evening.

FIRST HALF

• Tightly contested half in the first ten minutes of play after a made layup by Willie Kondrat at the 10:14 mark got the Saint's within two points of closing the gap on the Firebirds, 14-12.
• The Saint's got things all tied up off a made shot by Bryson Birdsong with 7:19 remaining, 20-20.
• From that point on the Saint's only accumulated eight points as the Firebirds had scored 20 to conclude the half, 40-28.

SECOND HALF

• The Saint's fought hard against UDC in the first 4:54 both teams scored 10 points respectively, 53-37.
• They performed better in the second half only allowing themselves to be down by nine points as opposed to 12 in the first.
• UDC compiled 50 percent from the field that surpassed the Saint's 42.2.

The Saints will be back in the College Center Gym to play against the Dolphins of the College of Staten Island Sunday, Feb. 5 at 3:00 p.m.
