AMHERST, NY. - The D'Youville University men's volleyball team trailed 2-0 but forced a fourth set before falling to red hot Daemen on Thursday, 13-25, 13-25, 25-21, 19-25.

First Set

• DAE doubled up DYU 10-5 early on
• Four straight from DYU cut deficit to one, 10-9
• DAE responded with a five straight and a 9-of-11 overall to open up a 19-11 advantage.

Second Set

• Haven Wankerl kill trims margin to one at 10-9
• DAE rips off 11-2 run to have a double digit lead at 21-11
• Tymek Brzoza pauses the momentum before DAE closes it out 25-13

Third Set

• Shaun Vattakuzhiyil caps off 4-0 DYU spurt, 13-10 Saints
• Another 4-0 DYU run stretches lead to seven at 22-15
• DAE gives DYU a late scare at 24-21 before Kacper Taudul puts an end to it

Fourth Set

• Consecutive DYU errors make it 12-8 DAE
• Randy Adorno feeds Wankerl to pull DYU within one, 15-14
• DAE quickly pushes margin back to five, 20-15, on way to 25-19 win
