BUFFALO, N.Y. - The D'Youville University Saints men's volleyball team opened its 2023 season at home on Monday night, falling to the receiving votes Princeton University Tigers in straight sets, 25-27, 17-25, 17-25.

First Set

• Randy Adorno sets up Ty Parker for a kill, DYU 12-11
• Princeton staved off a pair of DYU match points to tie the set at 24-24 and 25-25
• The Tigers edged out the set with a kill and a Saints' attack error, 27-25 

Second Set

• Tigers led 15-13 at the media timeout 
• Princeton stretches the margin to 19-14, timeout DYU
• Saints can't get closer than five, 22-17, as Tigers take it 25-17

Third Set

• DYU only trailed by two once again at the media timeout, 15-13
• Saints pull within one, 17-16, before three straight points from the Tigers force DYU timeout
• Princeton closes with 5-of-6 to sweep the match
