Staten Island, N.Y.- The D'Youville University men's basketball team dropped another conference matchup over the weekend as they competed against the College of Staten Island, 92-70 from the Sports and Recreation Center.

STAT OF THE GAME

• Four Saints were in double-figures as Wille Kondrat had 19, Nelson St. Louis posted 14 and Luke Theisen and Latrell Butler each chipped in 10.

FIRST HALF

• It was a close affair in the opening minutes as a Kondrat deep ball tied the game at 8-8 four minutes in.
• At 13:07 the Saints went on a 9-0 run, capped by a Nelson St. Louis three, to open up a 20-11 lead.
• The Dolphins finally retied the game, 33-33 with a free throw, before taking a slim 42-40 advantage at the break.

SECOND HALF

• At the start of the half, the Dolphins went on a 7-0 run until Kondrat's layup halted the momentum at CSI 49-42.
• The Dolphins stretched the margin to double digits halfway through the stanza, 64-53.
• A Bryson Birdsong three-point play helped cut a 15-point DYU deficit to 10, 77-67, with five minutes remaining but that's as close as the Saints would get down the stretch.

Conference play will continue for the Saints as their next game is against the Redhawks of Roberts Wesleyan University on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 4:00 p.m. from the Voller Athletics Center.
