WASHINGTON, D.C.- The D'Youville University men's basketball team fell on the road against a fellow conference competitor in the University of the District of Columbia, 97-79 from Dr. Edwin Bancroft Henderson Sports Complex.

STAT OF THE GAME

• Nelson St. Louis led the Saints in their scoring efforts finishing with 21 points.

FIRST HALF

• The Saints were behind by one point in the early going with 17:48 off a made three-pointer from Chase Jenkins.
• With 3:58 left the Firebirds got their lead up to as much as 25 points.
• The final points of the half came from Bryson Birdsong making a free throw in the last 43 seconds.

SECOND HALF

• Saints produced a 9-3 run finished off with a layup made by Willie Kondrat in the first 2:20 of the half.
• Efforts made on the offensive side of the ball led the Saints to outscore the Firebirds, 46-44.
• The Saints were able to get to the paint three times in the last 2:10 from layups contributed by Latrell Butler, Cherif Kanoute, and St. Louis.
