CHARLESTON, WV - The D'Youville University men's volleyball team picked up its first victory of the 2023 season in straight sets over the Belmont Abbey College Crusaders, 25-22, 25-17, 25-20 on Saturday evening.

First Set

• Randy Adorno kill puts DYU up 12-10
• Teams trade points before BAC knots set at 20-20
• Saints take next 3-of-4 before closing out set 25-22

Second Set

• Ian De Wilde finish gives DYU early 7-3 advantage
• Adorno finds Haven Wankerl to hold a four-point margin at 14-10
• BAC pulls within two, 19-17, before DYU closes set with six straight points, 25-17

Third Set

• Saints' error allow Crusaders to take 12-10 advantage
• Four BAC attack errors allow DYU to retake lead, 17-14
• Jacob Malak service ace pushes margin to four, 24-20, as Saints' seal set 25-20
