BUFFALO, N.Y. - The D'Youville University tennis team competed hard against Edinboro University, but ultimately fell 1-6 in the Thursday afternoon match.
Yuliia Kashtelian and Khushi Agarwal fought hard in their doubles match, claiming two of the eight sets. Julia Clapper and Katelyn Hoover played the second doubles match for the Saints, fighting hard but unable to squeak out a win, falling 0-6.
In singles play, the Saints' Kashtelian went back-and-forth with Cecillia Carayol, but ultimately fell 1-6 and 2-6. Hoover fought hard as well, but found herself with the same fate. Luckily, Agarwal won her singles match with set scores at 6-3, 5-7, and 10-5.

The Saints are back in action Sunday, Sept. 11 as they play host to Post University. First serve is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at Village Glen Tennis Club.
