Box Score 4 MANCHESTER, N.H. – The D'Youville University women's volleyball team (1-1, 0-0 ECC) split their opening day of the 2022 season, defeating Saint Michael's in five sets, but falling to host Saint Anselm in three. Isabella Prentice had a stellar performance in her collegiate debut, registering 26 kills over two matches.
Saint Michael's
Head coach Jaime Snyder picked up her first win as a college head coach, as the Saints defeated Saint Anselm in five sets. It was back-and-forth the entire time against the Purple Knights from Saint Michael's, but it was the D'Youville Saints that came out on top taking the final set by two points (15-13).

Freshman Isabelle Prentice paced the Saints in her collegiate debut with 14 kills.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Prentice and Jaycee Karelus paced the Saints offensively, recording 14 and 12 kills, respectively.
- Emma Wlostowski was credited with a team-high 39 assists. She also recorded four service aces.
- Samantha Killane had a stellar appearance on the court, recording a team-high six service aces.
- Three Saints recorded double-digit digs as Killane (16), Wlostowski (15), and Karelus (10) led the team.
Saint Anselm
D'Youville fought hard against Saint Anselm, but it wasn't enough as the Saints fell in three sets to the Hawks. The Saints combined for 17 kills, 15 assists, and 29 digs as a team.

Samantha Killane paced the Saints defensively with a team-high 10 digs.
