AMHERST, N.Y. – The D'Youville men's volleyball team took the Daemen Wildcats to four sets Wednesday night at Lumsden Gymnasium, but the Wildcats walked away with the 3-1 win. Ian De Wilde paced the Saints offensively with 18 kills, while Jacob Malak was credited with 10. Randy Adorno continued to be a success at the setter position, finishing the four-set affair with 37 assists and one kill.

First Set Notables

• Daemen took the first set in a deciding 25-11.
• De Wilde and Malak led the way in the first set with two kills apiece.
• Adorno was credited with a team-high three assists, while Dan Busha had one.

Second Set Notables

• The Saints took the second set in an exciting 28-26.
• De Wilde paced the Saints with nine kills, while Tymek Brzoza and Theethat Vichitchoti each had three.
• Adorno was credited with 15 assists through the second set.
• Malak and Brzoza each served up one service ace.
• Malak and Busha had two and one kill, respectively.

• The Wildcats snuck out a 25-15 third set victory to take the 2-0 lead.

• The Saints fell in the fourth set, 12-25, and the Wildcats took the 3-1 win Wednesday night.
