Saints Look to Bounce Back at Post

BUFFALO, N.Y.- The Saints will be on the road for a matchup against the Eagles of Post University on Saturday, Oct. 8. at noon from LaMoy Field.

SCOUTING POST

Post is currently 7-3-1 on the season accounting for five wins in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The Eagles have 18 goals on the year, while only allowing seven. Forward Francisco Sousa is leading the team in goals, compiling four. Midfielder Carles Aliberch leads the team in assists, recording five. Goalkeeper David Mollenthiel at the pitch has gathered 24 saves.

OPENING XI

I. The Saints continued on the road against the Dolphins of College of Staten Island. The contest ended with the score favoring the Dolphins, 4-1.

II. Arthur Da Silva scored his first goal of the year against CSI. This now puts him at five points, being second as the point leader.

III. Landon Pettigrew recorded his first assist against CSI.

IV. Arthur Da Silva and Landon Pettigrew both have recorded an assist on the season.

V. Francisco Osorio had the most shots when playing CSI, taking three and putting one shot on goal.

VI. Ethan Picard, in his outing with the Dolphins, tallied five saves bringing his total to 72.

VII. Aaron Baffour scored his first collegiate goal against the FireBirds in the 56th minute of play coming off of an assist from Arthur Da Silva.

VIII. Felipe Santos is leading the Saints in goals this season recording four. So far Felipe Santos is leading in total shots taken having 25. On top of being the points leader for the Saints compiling a total of eight.

IX. Felipe Santos, Felipe Pugas, Aaron Baffour, Arthur Da Silva and Avery Grondin on the season have contributed to scoring during Saints play.

X. The Post Eagles went undefeated last week, securing a win at Georgian Court (4-0), and tying Alliance (1-1). Their efforts earned three CACC Honors in Arnau Fabrega, Soren Jensen, and Carles Aliberch.

XI. Defensively, the Saints are nearly matched with their opponents, as the three Saints keepers have compiled a .619 save percentage over 10 games.
