BUFFALO, N.Y.- The D'Youville University men's soccer competes in their last conference match of the season against the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College at 1 p.m. from Spartan Field.
SCOUTING ST. THOMAS AQUINAS
On the year they have a record of 5-6-4 having acquired one within the East Coast Conference. Forward Jorge Umana is the top contributor for the Spartans in goals, assists, and points with three goals, three assists, and nine points. III. Ethan Picard has 95 saves on the year. This save total puts him in first place within the ECC and USCAA. Picard was selected as USCAA Men's Soccer Division I Goalie of the Week for the second week in a row. In his last outing against Daemen, he gathered eight saves on the afternoon.
IV. Felipe Santos is the Saints goal leader recording four. He has taken the most shots for the team with 29. On the season he leads in points compiling a total of nine.
V. Da Silva has the most assists for the Saints having three. He scored his first goal on the season against CSI. This gives him five points so far, placing him second in that category for the team.
VI. The three Saints keepers have compiled a .594 save percentage over 13 games.
VII. The Saints sit just ahead of Staten Island for shot percentage as a team.
VIII. The Spartans are coming off a 2-1 loss to Queens last Saturday. In the 32nd minute of play, Jorge Umana scored his goal coming off an assist from Kevon Evans.
IX. St. Thomas Aquinas goalkeeper Tabor McDaniel currently sits in sixth place for save percentages with .774. McDaniel was awarded ECC Men's Soccer Rookie Of The Week.
