BUFFALO, N.Y.- The D'Youville University women's rowing team will be competing at the Head Of The Niagara on Sunday, Oct. 16. The Saints will be up against 21 different clubs including Buffalo State College and Canisius College.
OPENING III
I. n the last meet at the Head Of The Genesee the varsity 4+ of Coxswain Jessica Lawson, Madelynn Racaniello, Julia Cecil, Julia Neal, and Rylie Nyhlen finished 3rd behind Ithaca (A) and Binghamton and ahead of Ithaca(B) Nazareth and St. John Fisher.
II.The Varsity 8+ featured Coxswain Jessica Lawson, Madelynn Racaniello, Julia Cecil, Julia Neal, Rylie Nyhlen, Rylie Wentlent, Eliora Brown, Carly Stoklosa, and Collen March finished 76 respectfully. The Varsity 8+ featured 5 true walk-on rowers who only took their first rowing strokes 4 weeks ago.
III. The Saints started their season against the 2022 NCAA Champions in Mercyhurst University Sunday, Oct. 2. The Varsity 4+ was made of Coxswain Jessica Lawson, Madelynn Racaniello, Julia Cecil, Julia Neal, and Rylie Nyhlen.
