BUFFALO, N.Y.- The D'Youville University men's soccer team are back on the road to compete in conference play on Saturday, Oct 15. at 2 p.m. from Williamsville South Athletic Field against the Wildcats of Daemen University.
SCOUTING DAMEN
The Wildcats sit at 4-6-2 on the season with one win accounted for within the East Coast Conference. Derek Bartlo of the Wildcats leads in points, goals, and assists recording 13 points, five goals, and three assists. Goalkeeper Marcos Lerma Escobar on the year has compiled 63 saves.
OPENING VII
I. The Saints were on the road in their pervious match against the Eagles of Post University with the score favoring the Eagles, 9-0. In the second half of the match the Saints held Post to four shots being taken.
II. Ethan Picard has 76 saves on the year. This save total puts him in first place with the USCAA and ECC.
III. Felipe Santos is the Saints goal leader recording four. He has taken the most shots for the team as well with 25. On the season he leads in points compiling a total of eight.
VI. Arthur Da Silva has the most assists for the Saints having three. He's scored one goal on the season against CSI. This gives him five points so far, placing him as second in that category.
V. Santos, Felipe Pugas, Aaron Baffour, Da Silva and Avery Grondin have all scored on the year during Saints play.
VI. The Wildcats of Daemen University are coming off a loss from LeMoyne University (4-5), 4-1. Derek Bartlo had the lone goal for the Wildcats on the evening.
VII. Defensively, the three Saints keepers have compiled a .590 save percentage over 11 games.
