Box Score ELMIRA, N.Y. – The D'Youville men's volleyball team fought hard against Elmira College Tuesday evening, but ultimately fell in three close sets to the Soaring Eagles. Randy Adorno Pagan continued his success as a setter, recording 26 assists through three sets. Jacob Malak led the way in kills with 10.
First Set Notables
- De Wilde led the way in the first set for the Saints with four kills. Tymek Brzoza, Busha, and Malak each had two.
- Adorno Pagan impressed in his setter position, recording nine assists, whiel Nicholas Garbacz had one.
- Brzoza recorded an ace early in set one.
- De Wilde added a block to his stat line.
Second Set Notables
- Busha led the way in the second set of action, recording eight kills for the Saints.
- Malak added five kills to his resume, while De Wilde, Theethat Vichitchoti, and Ian Mendoza each had two.
- Adorno blew up in the second set of the match, recording 12 assists.
Third Set Notables
- It was a back-and-forth battle for the Saints in the final set of the match, but ultimately they fell 21-25.
- Busha and Malak each had three kills in the final set of the match, while Garbacz had two.
- Adorno Pagan added to his stat line, recording five kills in the final set of the match.
- Malak and Garbacz combined for two blocks, while Garbacz recorded one solo block on the night.
