Pittsburgh, PA - The D'Youville women's tennis team took down the La Roche Redhawks on Saturday afternoon by the score of 6-3 for their second consecutive conference win.

D'Youville was very successful in their singles matches as the team went 4-2. Lilly Nguyen (Rochester, NY/Penfield) won her singles match 6-1, 6-0 while Faith Falkowski (Batavia, NY/Notre Dame) had a dominant win 6-0, 6-0. 

Dena Iadanza (Vestal, NY/Vestal) took the win in her singles match 6-2, 7-6 while Lauren Karoglan (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) won 6-2, 6-0.

During doubles play, the team picked up two additional points to win the match. Amanda Waliszewski (Sanborn, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield) and Lexi Dickson (Hamilton, Ont./Frontier) picked up a close 8-7 victory for a crucial point. Falkowski and Julia Clapper (Cleveland, OH/Highland) were extremely impressive in their doubles victory as they won 8-0.

The women will be right back at it tomorrow as they play at Pitt.-Greensburg at 11:00am.
