Elmira, NY – The D'Youville women's tennis team hit the road to face Elmira Sunday afternoon and were defeated by the Soaring Eagles by the final score of 9-0.

Bryannia Sutton (Mexico, NY/Mexico) played well as the team's second single player. Senior Jessica Banning (Amherst, NY/Amherst) and freshman Morgan Finn (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) made their season debuts.

The next match for the Spartans comes on Wednesday, September 16^th at 4pm against Medaille.
