Erie, PA – The D'Youville women's volleyball began the Penn State-Behrend Invitational with a loss to Geneva by the score of 3-0.

In three sets, Gevena took the Spartans by the scores of 25-14, 25-21 and 25-10. The team totaled 13 kills, 13 assists and 57 digs.

Kaylee Stewart (Wilson, NY/Wilson) led the team with 5 kills, followed by 3 each from Megan Schneider (Lockport, NY/Lockport) and Julie Fleming (Tonawanda, NY/Mt. St. Mary's Academy). Schneider also played a big role on defense with 12 digs, which tied for the team lead along with Christine Seibert (Cassadaga Valley, NY/Cassadaga Valley). Abby Booth (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) with 9 assists.
