Buffalo, NY - Performing under beautiful racing conditions today at the NY State Collegiate Championships, the Lady Spartan rowers represented D'Youville well. Both DYC boats made it through the morning heats and advanced to the afternoon finals.
"Our varsity four rowed a solid race in their heat finishing strong in first place, which gave us some good momentum going into the Grand Final," said Head Coach John Dorn.
"While we were not able to carry that momentum into the medal standings of the Grand Final, the varsity four gained valuable racing experience against some very competitive crews," he continued.
Both boats fought hard out on the course today as the DYC rowers completed their spring season.
