Box Score Bradford, PA – The D'Youville women's volleyball team suffered their seventh loss in a row on Wednesday evening to the host Pitt.-Bradford Panthers by the final score of 3-0.
The Spartans lost the first two sets by the scores of 25-15 and 25-15, but battled in the third set and lost by the final score of 25-23. Kendyll Smith (Petrolia, PA/Karns City) led the team with 8 kills, followed by Kaylee Stewart (Wilson, NY/Wilson) and Megan McCarthy (Eden, NY/Eden) with 7 each.
Smith added 10 digs and 1 service ace to her evening with Kaitlyn Grimm (Erie, PA/Iroquois) leading the team with 18 digs. Megan Schneider (Lockport, NY/Lockport) had 14 assists, 3 service aces and 7 digs in the game. Leading the team in blocks was Julie Fleming (Tonawanda, NY/Mt. St. Mary's Academy) with 3 and she had 8 digs and 4 kills. Megan Gawrys (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa) had 7 assists in the game.
D'Youville will host La Roche this weekend on Saturday, October 17th at 1:00pm in the College Center Gym.
