Pittsford, NY - September 3rd, 2014 - Playing their second game in as many nights, the D'Youville Women's Volleyball Team lost Wednesday night 3-0 against the St. John Fisher College Cardinals.

In the 3 sets, D'Youville lost 9-25, 19-25 and 14-25. The Spartans collected 17 kills, 26 assists and 33 digs as a team.

"We were out worked tonight," said Head Coach Stephanie Kazmierczak. "We have to get back into a rhythm and play our style of volleyball."

Since going 2-0 in the AMCC-NEAC Challenge on Saturday, the Spartans have lost their last 2 games against Medaille on Tuesday, and tonight vs the Cardinals. In total, D'Youville have gone 0-6 in their last 6 sets.

The loss drops the team's overall record to 2-3.

The next game for the D'Youville Women's Volleyball Team is Saturday, September 6th against Morrisville State at the Morrisville State Invitational.
