Buffalo, NY - September 17th, 2014 - The D'Youville Women's Volleyball Team lost to Brockport at home on Wednesday evening 3-0.

The Spartans lost in 3 sets by a score of 25-18, 25-19 and 25-20. D'Youville was coming off a weekend which saw them go 1-2 at the Penn St.-Behrend Tournament.

Freshman Megan Schneider (Lockport, NY/Lockport HS) continued her impressive play from the weekend as she led the Spartans in kills and points Wednesday night. Schneider had 6 digs and 8 points to go along with 5 digs. Leading the team in digs was junior Alyssa Dueringer (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) who had 11.

The team as a whole had 23 kills and 56 digs. They attempted a rally late in the third set, but it wasn't enough to overtake Brockport, who had 32 kills as a team.

This weekend will be the next action for the D'Youville Women's Volleyball Team as they head to play Brockport at 11am, and then play Pitt.-Bradford at 1pm.
