Rochester, NY-In a single nine-inning non-conference game played at the University of Rochester, D'Youville generated only five hits and was stopped by the host Yellowjackets 10-3.

Jeff Spors (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) went 2-5 and scored a pair of runs. Matt Wendling (Cheektowaga, NY/Maryvale) had an RBI single and Matt Veronica (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) had an RBI with a bases loaded walk.

The Spartans return to AMCC play tomorrow (April 25) when they host Hilbert College at Veterans Memorial Park (formerly Centennial) in West Seneca, NY. Doubleheader start time is 3:00 p.m.

Prior to the start the team's three players playing in their final game will be honored: Matt Veronica, Jackson Herlan (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) and Mikiah Downing (Westpark, NY/Highland).
