Box Score Buffalo, NY - As the rain cleared and the wind picked up late Saturday afternoon, the D'Youville Men's Soccer Team fell to conference opponent Pitt.-Greensburg, 2-0.
Pitt.-Greensburg opened up the scoring slightly over half way through the first half, and then added another goal just 8 minutes later to make the score 2-0. The Spartans had several scoring opportunities but were spoiled by the Bobcats defense and goalkeeping.
Four D'Youville players had shots for the team, with sophomore Joe Hall (Rancho Cucamonga, CA / Loyola) and freshman Gerald West Jr (Buffalo, NY/Lockport) getting the only two shots on goal. On defense, freshman Conner Ward (San Diego, CA/Cathedral Catholic) turned in another solid performance to add to his freshman campaign. Freshman goalkeeper Callum Christie (Hamilton, ON, CA/Dallastown) made 3 saves on 5 shots.
