Buffalo, NY-It was a great start for the D'Youville men's volleyball team. The end, not so great. The Spartans took the first two sets from visiting Penn State Behrend 25-21 and 25-23, then dropped the next three 27-25, 25-14, and 15-13 for a five-set loss.

The loss drops D'Youville to 2-3 in the United Volleyball Conference, 7-4 overall.

Chris Temple (Highwood, IL/Highland Park) had 18 kills and Chris Krueger (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) 12 kills and a team-high 4 blocks. Five Spartans had double-digit digs led by Jay Senozetnik (Eden, NY/Eden) with 13. Senozetnik also dished a match-high 47 assists.

The next match for D'Youville is February 20th at Elmira College. Start time is 6:00 p.m.
