Williamsville, NY-Medaille defeated D'Youville 8-1 in a non-conference match played this afternoon at Miller Tennis Center.

The Spartans won in first singles and nearly won in first doubles, losing in a tie-break, and in second doubles.

Jessica Lampka (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) took the first singles match 6-0, 6-0. In first doubles Lampka and partner Jordan Davis were edged 9-8 (7-4).  The D'Youville second doubles team of Kylie Bett and Courtney Fox were edged 8-6.

Next for D'Youville is a visit from Pitt-Bradford tomorrow (Sep. 12) at 4:30 p.m. The match will be played at the Spartan's home facility Miller Tennis Center.
