Pittsburgh, PA- Despite being tied 2-2 in the second half, the Spartans could not hold on for the victory and fell to La Roche 6-2. Neil Janes (Lee Center, NY / Rome Free Academy) had the Spartan's first goal and assisted Mate Tarr (Forro, Hungary / Um es Kolegium) on the second goal of the night. This was Janes' 11th career assist, tying him for the D'Youville career mark. Matt Veronica (Kenmore, NY / Kenmore East) assisted on the first goal.

The Spartans are now 2-11 overall and 1-4 in their conference. Their next match is Tuesday, October 9th at 6:30pm at Medaille College.
