Buffalo, NY (9/7/11)-D'Youville College defeated visiting Alfred University 3-0 in a non-conference women's volleyball match played in the College Center Gym. Set scores were 25-23, 25-13, and 25-14.

Luciana Payne (Buffalo, NY/Mount St. Mary Academy) smacked a match-high 12 kills, Danielle Swanston (Burke, NY/Chateaugay) added seven kills, and Amber Letina (Lawtons, NY/North Collins) dished a match-high 24 assists for D'Youville (2-1).

D'Youville will play at the Penn State Behrend Invitational September 9-10.
