Williamsville, NY (9/25/10)-Women's tennis shutout Pitt-Greensburg 9-0. The Spartans won 24 of 25 doubles games and won six singles matches in straight sets.  Samantha Rowen (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville East) and Angela Poblocki (Akron, NY/Akron) won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0.

In just their second season of competition the Spartans clinch a berth in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championship. D'Youville has two matches in conference and three matches out of conference before the October 16-17 AMCC Championship at Oxford Athletic Club in Wexford, PA.

The next match for D'Youville is October 1st at AMCC opponent Pitt-Bradford.
