Williamsville, NY (9/12/10)-Freshman Samantha Rowen (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville East) won her first singles match 6-0, 6-0 becoming the program's first player to win in a singles match straight sets, and teamed with senior Melissa Kanalley (Tonawanda, NY/Cardinal O'Hara) to win in first doubles, leading D'Youville to a 7-2 win over Franciscan University. Kanalley won her second-singles match 6-0, 6-1.

Ali Mascioletti (Hilton, NY/Hilton) teamed with Jessica Lampka (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) to win in doubles and each won their singles match. Angela Poblocki (Akron, NY/Akron) won her first-career match in fifth singles for D'Youville (2-0, 2-0 AMCC).
