Mitch Mason

Mitch Mason joined the women's volleyball coaching staff in August of 2021. 

Mason attended D’Youville from 2016-21 and graduated last spring with a BSN in nursing and a minor in psychology. He was a dual-sport athlete on Porter Avenue, playing two years of baseball and two years of volleyball for the Saints.  

During the 2019-20 men’s volleyball campaign, Mason led D’Youville and the AMCC in digs per set, ranking 12th in the country at the Division III level. Mason also paced the Saints in digs and digs per set during his final season in 2021. Mason picked up 16 career hits on the diamond, including five doubles, while driving in five runs. In his D'Youville baseball debut on March 18, 2017, Mason picked up his first career hit with a double to center field, where he would come around to score his first run.
