D'Youville University

Kara Zaucha joined D’Youville University as an assistant women’s volleyball coach after an accomplished playing career at Canisius University. A four-year starter and 2024 All-MAAC Second Team honoree, she finished her career with 1,126 points, ranked among the nation’s leaders in double-doubles, and earned multiple academic honors while completing both her B.S. and MBA in Accounting.

Zaucha brings coaching experience from NOVA Juniors, CADO, and the Canisius men’s club team, where she developed athletes’ skills, strategy, and teamwork. Known for her energy, attention to detail, and leadership, she is dedicated to fostering a winning and supportive culture with the Saints.
