Payce Lange

Payce Lange is in her second season at D'Youville and is entering her first season as the interim head coach after being named to the position in October.

In 2021 as an assistant coach, Lange helped the Saints to their first victory over NCAA Division II competition, a 72-64 road win over Clarion on January 31, and D'Youville's first East Coast Conference victory, a 78-70 victory over Mercy at the College Center Gym on February 27.

Lange joins the Saints after wrapping up her playing career at Kean University. In her four seasons with the Cougars, Lange received many accolades and honors both on and off the court. In her final season as a Cougar, Lange finished 33rd among Division III leaders in points per game (19.2) and finished in the top-100 in steals per game (2.58). In addition, she tallied 6.7 rebounds per game and finished her Kean career with 1,221 career points. For her play, Lange was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Player of the Year and the D3hoops.com Atlantic Region Player of the Year in addition to NJAC First Team and All-ECAC Division III First Team selections. She capped off her career by being named a D3hoops.com All-American.

Lange's junior season saw her earn All-NJAC Honorable Mention as she played in 28 games and averaged 14.1 points per game.

Off the court, Lange achieved Dean’s List honors every semester as a student-athlete, graduating with high honors of Magna Cum Laude. In addition, Payce was a three-time Chi Alpha Sigma Academic honoree and named to the All-ECAC Academic Team.

A native of Tewksbury, N.J., Lange played scholastically at Voorhees High School.

Lange earned her bachelor's degree in exercise and science with a minor in marketing from Kean in 2020. She is currently pursuing her MBA at D'Youville.
