Brendan Leong was named Head Coach of the D’Youville University men’s volleyball program in June 2025 after serving as the team’s assistant coach from October 2023 through the 2025 season. In his role as assistant coach, Leong played a key role in practice planning, opponent scouting, and recruiting, while helping manage travel logistics and match preparation. His position was established through the NCAA Division II Coaching Enhancement Grant, and during his time on staff he worked closely with the program’s leadership to continue building the Saints’ competitive presence within Division I men’s volleyball.
Prior to becoming the head coach at D’Youville, Leong gained extensive coaching experience at both the high school and club levels. He served as the Junior Varsity Head Coach at Canisius High School from 2022–2025 while also coaching with Lockport Volleyball Club, leading both the 15U and 16U teams to multiple championship finishes, including a first-place finish at the 2025 AAU Nationals and several AAU Grand Prix and regional titles. A native of Western New York, Leong earned both his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management (2024) and Master of Science in Sport Administration (2025) from Canisius University.
