Nick Miller joined the staff in the Fall of 2023 for his first season with the Saints. Miller recently graduated from St. John Fisher, where he was a five-year member of the men’s lacrosse team team and four time All-American. Miller previously served as an Assistant Coach for St. John Fisher in 2023.
During his time at Fisher, Miller graduated with an undergraduate degree in 2021 and then received his MBA as well in 2022. Miller saw action in all 18 games as a freshman and started in 16 being named to the Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team, finishing second on the team in points (54) and goals (40). During his sophomore season, Miller broke the program single-season record with 82 goals and 114 points. Led the Empire 8 Conference in goals, points, and shots. Had five goals in a loss to No. 5 Williams in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
Miller's junior season was cut short due to COVID, but started all five games as a junior and named Maverik Media All-American Honorable Mention by Inside Lacrosse. Led the team in goals (13) and was second in points (19). Miller was tabbed Preseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse his senior season and was named Third-Team All-American by the USILA. Tabbed Empire 8 All-Conference First Team and the Empire 8 Championship Tournament MVP. Started the year as a USILA Third-Team Preseason All-American. Ranked second on the team in points (69) and goals (45), Miller concluded the season as Fisher's all-time leader in both points and goals.
During Miller's graduate year in 2022, he was named USA Lacrosse Magazine and USILA All-America Second Team, Empire 8 All-Conference First Team, and E8 All-Tournament Team award winner. Surpassed 100 points for the second time in his career where he scored 60 goals with a career-high 49 assists, 50 ground balls, and 10 caused turnovers in 19 games. Had seven points in both Empire 8 Tournament games and Fisher's NCAA Tournament win over No. 22 Catholic. Miller left Fisher as the all time leader in Goals (240), Assists (125), and Points (365).
Miller was drafted by the Buffalo Bandits in the fourth round of the NLL Entry Draft in 2021. Miller most recently signed with the Rochester Knighthawks. In the fall of 2023, Miller was also named to the 66-man player pool for the U.S. Men's Box National Team.
