D'Youville University

Simeon Heard began in 2022 as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach for the D'Youville men's basketball program after serving as the graduate assistant under former head coach in 2021.

Heard joined the coaching staff following the completion of a four-year career as a guard for the Red and Black. Across 94 career games, Heard made 46 starts and averaged 8.3 points per game. The Rochester, N.Y., native had double-digit points in 35 contests, including a career-high 35 points against Alfred State in November of 2017. Heard's sophomore campiagn saw him make a career-high 21 starts and record a career-best 246 points.

Heard also spent time as a member of the D'Youville men's golf team. 

A three-sport athlete at Charles Finney High School, Heard was a three-time Private Parochial Player of the Year, the 2016 Section V MVP, a Second Team All-State selection, and ended his scholastic career as Charles Finney's all-time leading scorer.

Heard earned his bachelor's degree in accounting and master's degree in international business from D'Youville University in 2020. He earned his Masters in business administration from D'Youville University in May 2022.
