Bartley was added to the men's basketball staff in the July of 2024.
Prior to his arrival in the Queen City, Bartley was on the Louisiana Tech men's basketball staff as a graduate assistant. Bartley was apart of team that won 20-plus games for the 10th time out of last 12 years and finished ranked 2nd in Conference USA. The team also earned an all-time best NET Ranking of 35th in the country.
Bartley assisted with scouting, player development, recruiting operations, and team and opponent film. Bartley also assisted in development of C-USA Player of the Year Isaiah Crawford, who is now on a two-way contract with the Sacramento Kings. Bartley also assisted with the development of C-USA Newcomer of the Year Daniel Batcho and a total of four C-USA All-Conference players and four players who have signed pro contracts.
Before Louisiana Tech, Bartley served as a student manager at James Madison University from 2020-23. During the 2022-23 seaon, Bartley was named on of the head managers. While at JMU, Bartley assisted with player development, team and opponent film, road trip and game day operations, and recruiting operations. Bartley was a member of 2020-21 CAA regular season championship team and a 22-win team in 2022-23 season which is the third most in school history. Bartley also assisted with the development of a total of eight future professional players and future Sun Belt Player of the Year Terrence Edwards.
The Mechanicsville, Virginia native graduated with his masters degree from Louisiana Tech in 2024 and his undergrade from James Madison in 2023.
