Kopasz was named the Assistant Academic Coach in June of 2024.
Prior to DYU, Kopasz served as a football graduate assistant at nearby Buffalo State University since 2021. Kopasz worked directly with the wide receivers and tight ends. Other duties that Kopasz was assigned was advising student-athletes with time management, mental health, schedule building, and performance standards.
Kopasz also collaborated with admissions, financial aid, and residence life to help assist student-athletes.Â
During his last year with Buffalo State, Kopasz worked in residence life as the Pro Staff On-Call where he served as a member of Residence Life and managed and prioritized the safet and security of students in the residence halls.
Kopasz graduated from Buffalo State University in 2024 with a masters of science in higher education and student affairs administration. Kopasz graduated with an undergraduate degree from Canisius University in sports management in 2020.
