Peyton Bentley was appointed volunteer assistant coach of the field hockey team in July of 2023.
Bentley come to D'Youville University from Houghton University, where she was a four-year starter for the institution's field hockey team. During her four years, Bentley played in 59 games where she scored 27 goals while assisting on 13 other occasions. During her senior season, the team captain scored 10 goals while helping the Highlanders reach the Empire 8 Conference Finals, the first in teamâs history.

A one-time Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week back in 2021, Bentley graduated from Houghton in the spring of 2023 where she majored in biology with a minor in chemistry.

The East Aurora native will be pursuing her Masters of Pharmacy while at DâYouville University.
