ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – Every week, the Buffalo Bills announce their High School Girls Flag Football Coaches of the Week across three regions: Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse.
The Week 4 coach of the week for the Buffalo Region was none other than D'Youville University's own
Jeff Weiss. Weiss serves as the head coach of the varsity flag football team at Orchard Park High School and has been directing the team since their inception back in 2022. Weiss also serves as the junior varsity tackle football head coach since 2021.
Weiss has built a solid foundation with the Quakers, compiling a record of 36-10-1, which includes playoff games. Weiss and the Quakers are fresh off their Section VI Class A title from a year ago and an appearance in the Far West Regionals. Since their inaugural season, Orchard Park has reached the sectional semifinals in every season.
"My goal as a coach is to maximize the potential of each of my athletes by forming meaningful relationships, instilling confidence through preparation and encouragement, and helping them learn skills that are valuable beyond the playing field," said Weiss. "I want to give back to my community and help create lifelong memories for my athletes."
Weiss was named the first head coach of the D'Youville University flag football team in the spring of 2025 and quickly assembled a team to compete in the 2026 season. In the team's inaugural season, Weiss led the team to a pair of wins to help build a solid foundation moving forward for the program.
